Could New York City's AI Hiring Law Be a Model for Other US City and State Regulations?, ABA Journal

Associate Daniel Kadish is quoted in an ABA Journal article about New York City’s artificial intelligence (AI) hiring law, which requires employers using automated employment decision technology for screening, hiring, or promoting employees to take an annual audit to test for gender and racial bias. Daniel said lawyers will help employers comply with the law.

“Universally, all of the clients we work with want to comply with the law,” Daniel said. “The headaches are in trying to wade through some of the ambiguous provisions that make the law either confusing or unclear.”
