BOSTON, December 25, 2023: Morgan Lewis partner Amy Maloney has been recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of its Go To Environmental/Energy Lawyers for 2023. The list honors environmental or energy lawyers across the state who are leaders in their field and have a history of success.
As a partner in Morgan Lewis’s global energy and project development practice and the local practice group leader for the Boston office, Amy focuses on project finance and development. She works with sponsors and financing sources, including commercial and investment banks, developers and independent power producers, private equity funds, insurance companies, and other institutional investors, and advises clients on the development, construction, operation, and debt and equity financing of various types of energy and infrastructure projects.
Throughout her nearly 20-year career, Amy has handled hundreds of sophisticated and complex energy and infrastructure financing transactions. In conjunction with the energy transition, Amy has shifted her primary focus in recent years to renewable energy and other sustainable technology financings, including with respect to the development, construction, and operation of wind, solar, and other renewable assets. In addition to Amy’s local practice group leader role, she also mentors associates and junior partners in the firm.
