In a roundup by IPWatchdog on what IP practitioners are thankful for in the IP realm in 2023, associate Peter Byrne remarked that he is “grateful for the implementation of the expungement procedure that was created by the Trademark Modernization Act.”
Peter noted that he is “optimistic that the expungement petition will become an increasingly helpful tool for clients that need to clear dead weight from the Register to secure their own trademark rights.”
