Surya M. Khanna represents US and international clients in a variety of litigation, regulatory clearance, and transactional antitrust matters, including non-merger and merger-related class actions as well as multidistrict and other complex litigation. As part of his practice, Surya conducts antitrust due diligence and counsels clients on premerger notification under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, international merger control, and criminal as well as civil investigations by the US Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.
Having received MPP and J.D. degrees from Georgetown University, Surya possesses a strong quantitative and qualitative analytical background in economics, econometrics, and data science, which he brings to bear on his work as an attorney. While in law school, Surya participated in the US Department of Justice’s highly selective Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP), where he worked in the Health and Consumer Products Section of the Antitrust Division.
