Angela Lin has a broad range of litigation experience in complex commercial and criminal matters in federal and state court as well as regulatory investigations. The substantive areas of her work include securities, broker-dealer, white collar, general contract, automotive, mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy litigation for sophisticated corporate clients. She also represents pro bono clients, including a community development corporation and victims of domestic violence.

Experience

  • Various large financial institutions in 1) regulatory investigations relating to the marketing and sale of CDOs and RMBS; 2) regulatory investigations into bonuses paid to advisors; 3) various civil litigations, including contract disputes; residential foreclosures; and multi-state RMBS-related litigation
  • Automobile manufacturers in civil litigation brought by dealer based on contract claims
  • Various hedge funds in civil litigation by former employees based on contract claims
  • Plan Administrator in contested matters during Chapter 11 bankruptcy of a large power company that involved extensive discovery-related motion practice
