Nov. 10, 2011 — Celanese Corporation, a global technology and specialty materials company, announced that it has agreed to acquire certain product lines from Ashland Inc. to support and grow its existing emulsions polymers business. The acquisition is expected to close within 60 days. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Bingham, led by partners David Robbins and James Thompson, represented Celanese in this matter. The firm’s team also included counsel Amy Mugherini and associates Scott Shane and Jason Capps.
