Daily Journal, Sept. 27, 2011 — Partners Marshall Grossman, Jim Loss, David Robbins and Geoff Howard were all recognized by the Daily Journal on its list of California’s Top 100 Lawyers for 2011. This marks the second year in a row that Bingham has had four lawyers honored on the list, making it one of only a handful of law firms to do so.

In Southern California, Grossman was recognized for his representation of clients in fields of the arts, entertainment and sports, and also for his work in representing an international charitable organization in obtaining a precedent-setting judgment against the Russian Federation; Loss was honored for his guidance on Platinum Equity’s purchase of the Detroit Pistons and his work for Silverado Senior Living in its sale of land and buildings to HealthCare REIT; and Robbins was noted for a series of deals he completed for Honeywell as well as his work with Yucaipa Investment Funds in its Barnes & Noble proxy contest. In Northern California, Howard was recognized for his outstanding and high-profile work for Oracle against rival SAP AG.
