Byde Clawson co-chairs Bingham’s Technology Transactions Group. He concentrates his practice in intellectual property transactions for high-technology and biotech companies. He regularly represents established U.S. and foreign-based companies in licensing, strategic partnering, acquisition and financing transactions.
Byde has extensive experience in domestic and international licensing transactions, joint research and development projects, acquisitions of technology and technology-based companies, financing of intellectual property and corporate counseling in intellectual property matters. His clients include universities, semiconductor manufacturers, personal computer manufacturers, database providers, biotech companies, service bureaus and mainframe data processors as well as emerging technology companies in various fields.
Byde has spoken at numerous conferences and universities on various intellectual property subjects.
