Morgan Lewis has been selected as a finalist in the Law Firm Innovators category for its artificial intelligence (AI) strategic partnership with Thomson Reuters as part of The Legal Intelligencer’s Pennsylvania Legal Awards.
In a Q&A feature, Chief AI & Knowledge Officer Colleen Nihill spoke to TLI about why Thomson Reuters is “the right dance partner for [Morgan Lewis]” given the shared vision and value regarding AI and about how the firm’s pursuit of innovation is driven by support from firm leadership as well as from an established operationalized approach.
Of the partnership, Colleen said, “In a lot of these trials, we’ll be matching the right use case with the right tool, so we’re not doing AI for AI’s sake. We are finding the best application for the technology. We recognize that a lot of vendors are developing AI platforms, and given our longstanding relationship with Thomson Reuters, we felt very comfortable moving forward with them.”
